'Head-Space has
helped to give me a focus to
go to every fortnight.
Talking about my OCD as well as
general things is nice. It is good to
hear other people too & feel you
are not alone although their conditions
maybe different. It is also great to feel
you are helping them.'

‘Head-Space
has become an important
part of my life. Not only is it a
place where I can speak openly it’s
made me realise I’m not alone.
I have met some great people who
have become friends & we are
there to help each other. ‘

Having an on-going
condition you learn different
ways to cope during your everyday.
This can be very stressful at times &
your anxiety peaks.
Head-Space is a great tool to use within
your treatment to deal with this because
it's a peer-to-peer support group.
Everybody attending is empathetic &
supportive in a non-judgemental
way.

The support you
receive from Head-Space
goes beyond the fortnightly
meetings as true friendships are
made. This means if you're struggling
they're there to talk too.
Also, if you want to socialise there's a
chance to do that too which breaks
down the barriers of isolation you
can sometimes feel.

'I didn't think a
support group would be for
me, but I have been coming for
over a year now!
We listen to each other & try to help each
other out if we can, but it's not all doom
& gloom!
I feel like its a really positive group & I
enjoy being part of it & chatting with
friendly & understanding bunch of
people.'
