Who are C.O.A.P.S.?
Cromer OCD & Anxiety Peer Support, known better as C.O.A.P.S., is a national non-profit organisation. This charity is governed by Norfolk OCD Support.*
C.O.A.P.S. mission is to deliver a friendly, non-judgmental & safe place for individuals, family & friends affected by Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, (OCD) & anxiety disorders.
This is achieved through C.O.A.P.S. providing a setting where people can openly discuss these conditions affecting them or loved ones & confide in others who are also coping with similar circumstances. This type of service is known as peer support.
Originally started under a different name, C.O.A.P.S. has evolved from a group founded by Kiera Barlett. (More
C.O.A.P.S. is held in partnership with OCD Action's Project, Always Better Together. Always Better Together is a three-year Lottery Funded project, working closely with local support groups.
